Home and Away
Our relationships with and definitions of home can be complicated. I once had a friend; an aid worker who told me how after years of shifting, packing and moving back and forth you learn to create your own piece of home where ever you might be and you take this little piece with you to the next place you move to. It’s like a jigsaw puzzle. Home can sometimes be very fragmented. In the summer of 2016 I rushed back to my island home; Sri Lanka escaping the homesickness and gloom that came with the harsh Boston winter. Finally back ‘home’ I tried to figure out what home meant to me and decided to piece together my scattered thoughts into a digital story that moved along with my stream of consciousness.
